Resolution L.13/Rev.1 “Taking Forward Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament Negotiations

My delegation wishes to clarify that our abstention on resolution L.13/Rev. 1 entitled ‘Taking forward multilateral nuclear disarmament negotiations’ is due to a lack of reference to the need for enlargement of the Conference on Disarmament. Our abstention is in no way related to the establishment of an open-ended working group in Geneva, which is an idea we fully support.
