Προεδρικές Εκλογές 2018 – Εκλογικά Κέντρα Εξωτερικού

Γνωστοποιείται ότι η Υπηρεσία Εκλογών του Υπουργείου Εσωτερικών της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας πληροφορεί ότι κατά τις Προεδρικές Εκλογές της 28ης Ιανουαρίου 2018 και σε τυχόν επαναληπτική εκλογή, δύναται να λειτουργήσουν, σύμφωνα με την Νομοθεσία, εκλογικά κέντρα στο εξωτερικό μόνο σε όσες πόλεις, στις οποίες λειτουργεί Πρεσβεία/Ύπατη Αρμοστεία ή Γενικό Προξενείο της Δημοκρατίας, νοουμένου ότι ο αριθμός των ψηφοφόρων που θα υποβάλουν το σχετικό έντυπο Δήλωσης υπερβαίνει τους πενήντα (50).

Ambassador Gustavo Meza-Cuadra opened on 15th of May, the 18th meeting of the UN Informal Consultative Process on Oceans and the Law of the Sea. For almost 30 years, Maria Zoupaniotis was the press counsellor at the Mission of the Republic of Cyprus.  I think, if we kept track of these things, she would have been the dean of the spokespeople at the Missions. [Read more…]

Με αισθήματα βαθύτατης θλίψης ανακοινώνουμε  το θάνατο της συναδέλφου και φίλης Μαρίας Ζουπανιώτη, Διευθύντριας του Γραφείου Τύπου και Συμβούλου στη Μόνιμη Αντιπροσωπεία της Κύπρου στον ΟΗΕ, η οποία άφησε την τελευταία της πνοή χθες 13 Απριλίου 2017 στο νοσοκομείο Mercy Medical Center στο Long  Island της Νέας Υόρκης ύστερα από μία σύντομη άνιση μάχη με τον καρκίνο. The Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture and the Rialto Theatre announce that the Call for Entries for the 13th CYPRUS FILM DAYS –International Film Festival 2015, is now open. The festival, which is being held for the 13th time this year, will host for the 5th consecutive year a separate international competition section entitled “Glocal Images”, in which filmmakers from around the globe and Cyprus are invited to submit their fiction films.
