Ο Πρέσβης Κορνήλιος Κορνηλίου επέδωσε σήμερα (22.2.17) το μεσημέρι στο Γενικό-Γραμματέα των Ηνωμένων Εθνών κ. António Guterres, τα διαπιστευτήρια του ως νέος Μόνιμος Αντιπρόσωπος της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας στα Ηνωμένα Έθνη. Ο κ. Κορνηλίου τα τελευταία 5 χρόνια υπηρέτησε ως Μόνιμος Αντιπρόσωπος της Κύπρου στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση στις Βρυξέλλες, ενώ προηγουμένως έχει υπηρετήσει, μεταξύ άλλων, ως Πρέσβης στη Γαλλία και Διευθυντής του Γραφείου του Υπουργού Εξωτερικών της Κύπρου.
