The President of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Miroslav Lajčák, hosted a reception on Tuesday, September 4th, honoring the Permanent Representatives at the United Nations who co-facilitated or co-chaired various groups during this session of the General Assembly.
Mr Lajčák expressed his appreciation to the participants for their contribution to a successful outcome of the work of the General Assembly. Among the guests was the Permanent Representative of Cyprus to the United Nations, Ambassador Kornelios Korneliou, who co-chaired the United Nations Open-ended Informal Consultative Process on Oceans and the Law of the Sea for the last two years. The President of the General Assembly presented to Mr. Korneliou a certificate of achievement in recognition of his contribution.
