The Tenth United Nations Conference on the Standardization of Geographical Names was held at the UN headquarters in New York from 31 July until 9 August, and the Twenty-Seventh Session of the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names was held in New York on 30 July and 10 August 2012. At the Conference and the Session, 110 countries with 280 delegates, special agencies, intergovernmental organizations, international organizations and relevant scientific observers participated. Συνήλθε στην έδρα του ΟΗΕ η Δέκατη Διάσκεψη των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για την Τυποποίηση Γεωγραφικών Ονομάτων στην Νέα Υόρκη από 31 Ιουλίου μέχρι και 9 Αυγούστου και η Εικοστή Έβδομη Σύνοδος της Ομάδας Εμπειρογνωμόνων των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για τα Γεωγραφικά Ονόματα στην Νέα Υόρκη στις 30 Ιουλίου και στις 10 Αυγούστου 2012. The Republic of Cyprus became on Friday the 25th country to sign the UN Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on a communication procedure. H.E.
